Elaine Patin Stutes

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Elaine Patin Stutes, 89, who passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022.

Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Michelle Domingues and Emily Redd.

Interment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum - No. 1 in Breaux Bridge.

Elaine was a devout Catholic and lifelong parishioner of St. Bernard Catholic Church, where she attended Mass weekly. She was a faithful and dedicated adorer at St. Bernard’s Chapel of Perpetual Adoration for many years and spent countless hours offering prayers and devotions to those in need. Elaine loved working in her flowerbeds and maintaining a pristine yard. She especially enjoyed cooking and baking for family events and holidays.  Prior to her retirement, Elaine was employed with Domingues Motors and Martin Chevrolet. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell W Stutes; parents Clobus Pierre Patin and Ruth Guidry Patin; infant son, Kenneth W. Stutes; two sisters, Fern (Hillan) Guidry and Gloria Ann (Russell) Thomassee; and two brothers, Warren J. (Renella) Patin and Charles T. (Leola) Patin.

Pallbearers will be Colin Domingues, Zachery Lancon, Brian Patin, Keith Patin, Paul Patin, and Kim Guidry.
