Ellis "'Jr Boy'" Delahoussaye

New Iberia Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Ellis Jr. Boy Delahoussaye, 65, who passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in Lafayette. Pastor Dave Rousse will officiate. Interment will be at a later date. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. Visitation will continue Sunday from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Ellis was born on May 13, 1948, and was a 1967 graduate of New Iberia Senior High. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy, and worked as a computer technician for C&A Associates. His hobbies included woodworking, electrical work, and taking care of his yard. Ellis loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Sally Bourque Delahoussaye of New Iberia; children, Wendy Delahoussaye Gilfoil and husband Jamie of Houston, Jean-Paul Delahoussaye and wife Jennifer of Corpus Christi, Natalie LaBiche Cormier and husband Jeremy of Erath, Reagan Francis Delahoussaye and fianc Camrie of New Iberia, Brianne Renee Delahoussaye of New Iberia, Lacie Lea Viator of New Iberia; brothers, Glen Delahoussaye and wife Liz of Cade, Danna Ray Pancho Delahoussaye and wife Nell of Coteau, Lynn Patrick Delahoussaye and wife Kathy of New Orleans; mother-in-law, Earline Romero Bourque of New Iberia; 11 grandchildren, and a grandson due to arrive in June. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis Delahoussaye, Sr., and Irene Virginia Louviere Delahoussaye; an infant sister; and his father-in-law, Gervis J.
