Ed Degeyter will officiate. ; Born on July 13, 1957 in New Iberia, Eloi worked for National Oil Well Varco. He enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar, and spending time with his family. ; Survivors include his wife Alice Dugas of St. Martinville; mother, Laura Mae Legnon Dugas of St. Martinville; daughter, Kathleen Champagne of Breaux Bridge; brother, Lynn Dugas and wife Debra of New Iberia; sisters, Gwenlynn Boudreaux and husband Mertile Joseph Boudreaux, Jr. of New Iberia, Gilda Veazey and husband Heith of St. Martinville; granddaughter, Hailey Champagne. ; He was preceded in death by his father, Lenis Joseph Dugas; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eloi Dugas, Harry Legnon, and Thelma Stutes. ; A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 4:00 PM until 6:30 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. ; Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd., New Iberia, LA 70560, 337.365.3331, is in charge of arrangements.
