Emelda "Mel" LaGrange Angelle

Cecilia A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon, on Monday, December 23, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Emelda "Mel" LaGrange Angelle, 74, who passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm on Sunday, and continue at 7:00 am until 11:45 am on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Sunday. Rev. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Gift Bearers will be her grandchildren. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Mel, as she was affectionately known to her family and friends, enjoyed doing arts and crafts and being in her yard. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by two sons, Ricky (Debbie) Angelle of Henderson, and Dean Angelle of Cecilia; two daughters, Debbie (Joey) Huval of Henderson, and Kim (Len) Boudreaux of Cecilia; her brother, Harold (Barbara) LaGrange of Catahoula; her sister, Lois (Robert) Tate of Arnaudville; eight grandchildren, Brandy Angelle, Raven (Brent) Angelle, Kylie Thomassee, Taylor Angelle, Maci Angelle, Clay Huval, Peyton Angelle, and Hailey Huval; and four great grandchildren, Angel Johnson, Bryson Johnson, Benton Angelle, and Rowen Angelle. She is preceded in death by her husband, Francis Angelle; her parents, Moise and Bernice Cormier LaGrange; her brother, Herbert LaGrange; and her companion, Leroy Savoy. Pallbearers will be Ricky Angelle, Dean Angelle, Brent Angelle, Jimmy LaGrange, Donnie Laviolette, and Joey Huval. Honorary pallbearers will be Peyton Angelle and Clay Huval.
