Catahoula - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:30 pm on Friday, August 20, 2021, at St. Rita Catholic Church for Erica Marie Thibodeaux, 47, who passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at Lafayette General Medical Center.The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:30 am until 3:15 pm on Friday.A rosary will be prayed at 2:00 pm on Friday.Rev. Bill Melancon will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Lindsey and Nichole Barras. Gift Bearers will be Holly Rebert and Tiffany Prince.Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula. Erica enjoyed expressing her love of music through her dancing. She loved spending time with her daughter, family, and friends. Erica was a kind and loving mother, daughter, and sister. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She is survived by her mother, Bernette Savoy Thibodeaux; daughter, Gabrielle Doiron; two sisters, Holly Rebert (Ray) and Tiffany Prince; two Godchildren, Braygon Rebert and Alyssa Prince; three nephews, Layke Rebert, Talan Prince, and Aries Rebert; and her niece, Kali Rebert.She was preceded in death by her father, Conrad Thibodeaux; maternal grandparents, Junius and Sophie Robicheaux Savoy; and paternal grandparents, Ignace and Mildred Theriot Thibodeaux.
