Ernest lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to his passions.

A proud high school graduate, Ernest became the owner of a paint and body shop, where he demonstrated his exceptional craftsmanship and strong work ethic. His friendly disposition and welcoming nature endeared him to all. He never met a stranger, and his ability to connect with people made him a beloved figure in the community.

As a devoted parishioner of St. Bernard Catholic Church and a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, Ernest's faith was central to his life. He found joy in cooking seafood, tending his garden, woodworking, and bass fishing, each activity reflecting his love for nature and the simple pleasures of life. Ernest was also known for his lighthearted spirit, often joking with family and friends and spreading joy wherever he went. Above all, he was a man of deep compassion, frequently praying for those in need and offering support to those around him.

In this time of mourning, let us remember Ernest Paul Webre not just for the years he lived, but for the moments he shared, the laughter he inspired, and the love he spread among family and friends. His memory will forever remain in our hearts.

He is survived by his brother, Earl (Suzanne) Webre; nieces, Lani (David) Lewis and Lauren (Bens Carlisle) Webre, and his great nephew, David Lewis, Jr.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ollie Chauffe Webre;  and his sister, Roselyn Webre.

Pallbearers will be Tommy and Paul Blanchard, Joey Chauffe, Eric Mayeux, Rick LeBlanc, and Jimmy Castex.
