Ethel Richard Latiolais

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, February 15, 2014, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Ethel Richard Latiolais, 84, who passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm on Friday and continue at 8:00 am until 12:30 pm on Saturday at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Friday. Deacon Marcel Butch Hebert will officiate at the funeral service. Reading the scriptures will be Brooks Boudreaux and Joni Choate. Music will be provided by Pat Melancon. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Latiolais was a very devoted Catholic and enjoyed her time at Holy hour. She also loved sewing, quilting, crocheting and going to the casino. She loved being with her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all. She is survived by her son, Benny Gray; her daughters, Rena Latiolais and her husband, Randy (Blue), Janet (Peppie) Boudreaux and her husband, Walter, and Ellen Choate; her sisters, Christine Guilbeau, Joyce Credeur and her husband, Victor, and Dora Castille and her husband, Alcee; her grandchildren, Jackie Latiolais, Shannon Latiolais, Kurtis Latiolais, Brooks Delahoussaye, Ted Boudreaux, Monica Stoutes, Jason Gray, Dietra Gray, Anthony Choate and Joni Choate; her great grandchildren, Malana Latiolais, Kyla Alexander, Felicia Alexander, Parrish Latiolais, Kole Stelly, Daven Delahoussaye, Brylee Delahoussaye, Madison Boudreaux and Wyatt Boudreaux. She is preceded in death by her father, Roy Richard, mother, Malazie Cormier Richard, 1st husband, Benton Gray, 2nd husband, Ulysses Latiolais, son, Floyd Gray; sisters, Francis Prejean, Evelyn Tauzin and Lena Olivier; and her brother, Joseph Roy Richard. Pallbearers will be Benny Gray, Jason Gray, Leland Baker, Anthony Choate, Kurtis Latiolais and Beau Delahoussaye. Honorary pallbearers will be Daven Delahoussaye, Parrish Latiolais and Kole Stelly.
