Eve delighted in cooking and having her family around the dinner table. Eve was always on the lookout for a good deal and often kept things "because someone might need it." Her favorite past-time was going to Cypress Bayou Casino.

Eve graduated high school in 1958 and worked nearly every day until her retirement in 2004. She was a dedicated employee of JB Talley Construction Company where she built lifelong friendships.

Eve was a wonderful and caring mother to her six children and an even more amazing "Granny" to 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Karl Guidry (Paula) and Kenneth Guidry (Pam); daughters, Kim Guidry, Kathy Zerangue, Antonia "Tonia" Guidry and Vicki Braud (Jeffrey); grandchildren, Christopher Guidry, Jarett Guidry, Layne Zerangue, Marissa Zerangue, Michael Guidry, Joshua Guidry, Amber Gaudet Use' (Jon), Jacolby Johnson, Jaylon Johnson, Jordan Johnson, Jyson Patterson, Chandler Braud and Anneliese Braud; great-grandchildren, Kai Newsom, Samantha Guidry and Violet Turner; step-grandchildren, Rebecca Bass, Michelle Bass and Ronald Bass; brothers, William Boudreaux and Ray Boudreaux; and sister, Audrey Rivet.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Mark Guidry; parents, Wednes Boudreaux, Sr. and Daisy Guidry Boudreaux; and brother, Wednes Boudreaux, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Jon Use', Michael Guidry, Chandler Braud, Jacolby Johnson, Jyson Johnson and Layne Zerangue.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Acadiana, the staff of Calcutta House and especially, Alyson Eastin Champagne.
