Evelyn Latiolais Kidder

Cecilia - A Requiem Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Evelyn Frances Latiolais Kidder, 71, who passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018. A rosary will be prayed at 9:30 am on Wednesday at the church. Rev. Taj Glodd will officiate at the Requiem Mass. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Mrs. Kidder enjoyed cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her loving spouse, Curtis "John" Kidder of Arnaudville; daughters, Carice Nolan and husband Charles "Butch" of Youngsville, Tara Quebedeaux and husband Tony of Broussard, and Janna Pridgen and husband Blaine of Arnaudville; brothers, Danny Latiolais and wife Mary of Loreauville and Anthony "Tony" Latiolais and wife Geralyn of Henderson; sisters, Laura Bossenberry and husband Earl of Royal Oak, Michigan, Georgia "Jo" Thibodeaux of Cade, and Clarine Flaherty and husband Michael of Cecilia; and four grandchildren, Zachary, Emily, Rory, and Eva. She was preceded in death by her mother, Loula Devillier Latiolais; father, Lionel Latiolais; brothers, Albert "Goo-you" Latiolais, Michael Latiolais, Achille "Darling" Latiolais, Warren "Bob Rouge" Latiolais, Lee Latiolais, and Darrell "Daro" Latiolais; father-in-law, Percy Pierre Kidder; mother-in-law, Beatrice Taylor Kidder; brother-in-law, Ray T-Ray Thibodeaux, and sisters-in-law, Jaqueline "Jackie" Benoit Kidder and Ouida Sayer. Pallbearers will be Charles "Butch" Nolan, Tony Quebedeaux, Blaine Pridgen, Michael Kidder, Joseph Desormeaux, Aby Lavergne, and Michael J. Moss. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Latiolais, Maurice Kidder, and David T. Kidder. In lieu of flowers, Mass intentions can be made for the repose of her soul.
