Ed Degeyter will officiate. ; Born on August 14, 1937, Mr. Derouen was a native and lifelong resident of New Iberia. He enjoyed country music and watching western movies. ; Survivors include godchild, Lucille M. Dore of New Iberia. ; He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Nola Derouen, Sr.; brothers, Wilson Derouen, Jr. and Jeffery Derouen, Sr. ; Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dore, Alfred Bonin, Paul Bonin, Cody Boudreaux, Albert Friou, Jr., Glenn Gary, Samuel Emerson, and Welsey Savoie, Jr. ; A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Thursday.
