Francis 'Paput' Castille

Breaux Bridge A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 pm, on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Francis "Paput" Castille, 92, who passed away on Friday, January 10, 2014, at St. Martin Hospital. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:30 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday and continue at 7:00 am until 1:00 pm on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Monday. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Francis was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, American Legion Post, and Woodman of the World. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, going to the horse races, and spending time with his family and sharing his home grown produce. He is survived by his sons, Dennis Castille and his wife, Sherry of Lafayette, and Richard Castille and his wife, Miria of Friendswood, TX; his brother, Felix "Peco" Castille of Breaux Bridge; and his six grandchildren, Brian, Kevin, Jason, Andy, Keith, and Chad Castille. He is preceded in death by his wife, Enola Green Castille; his parents, Valsin and Martha Landry Castille; his brother, Olden Castille; and his sisters, Rena Thibodeaux, Eunice LeBlanc, Birdie Wiltz, Annette Melancon, and Lita Cormier.
