Henderson - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church for Francis Dupuis, 91, who passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022.

A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge on Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 AM on Tuesday.

Rev. Lloyd Benoit will officiate at the Funeral Mass.

Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. 

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Rena Wyatt Dupuis; son, Barney Dupuis (Mary); daughters, Ginger Babineaux (Larry), Lisa Patin (Percy), and Dawn Benoit (Stacy); grandchildren, Brandy Dupuis, Sam Hardin, Gina Champagne (David), Misty LeBouef, Chelsy Gravouilla (Chase), Haley Benoit, Hannah Benoit and Jessica Babineaux; great-grandchildren, Cameron Broussard, Ella Broussard, Caleb Babineaux, Shanna Champagne, Jett LeBouef, Elle LeBouef, Mace LeBouef, Cruz Gravouilla, Levi Stephenson and Darden Stephenson; and his sister Dorothy Dupuis Huval.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Theresa Courville Dupuis, Sr.; brothers, Anthon Joseph Dupuis, Spraque Dupuis (Grace), Charles Dupuis (Rose), Lloyd Dupuis (Emily), Walter Dupuis, Jr. (Thelma), Wade Dupuis (Anita), Newton Dupuis, and Allen Dupuis (Thelma); grandson, Shannon Babineaux; and his step-mother, Adaise Johnson Dupuis.

Pallbearers will be Stacy Benoit, Larry Babineaux, Percy Patin, David Champagne, Chase Garvouilla, and Brynan Hebert.
