Frank French III

New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM , Friday, April 22, 2011 , at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Frank A. French, III, 59, who passed away on Monday, April 18, 2011 in Lafayette . Interment will follow in Beau Pre Cemetery . Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. Born on June 2, 1951 , Mr. French was a longtime area resident and sugarcane farmer. An avid reader, he enjoyed going to his camp, fishing, and watching sports, especially LSU. Survivors include his wife, Darlene Gonsoulin French of New Iberia ; mother, Mamie French of New Iberia ; sons, Frank A. French, IV and Lacie LeBlanc of New Iberia , Bjhan French of New Iberia ; daughter, Jade French Fontenot and husband Shaun Fontenot of Lafayette ; and a granddaughter, Isabella. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank A. French, Jr. Pallbearers will be Frank A. French, IV, Bjhan French, Shaun Fontenot, Kevin Adams, Matthew Broussard, David McKelvey, and James Smith. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd , in New Iberia . A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Thursday.
