Frank Jr. Kidder

Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am, on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Frank Kidder, Jr., 87, who passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Arnaudville from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday and continue at 8:00 am until 9:30 am on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Monday. Rev. Mike Arnaud will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers for the service will be Hannah Martin and Miranda Kidder. Serving as gift bearers will be Francine Martin, Stephanie Kidder and Jennah Martin. Altar Servers will be Cameron Kidder and Miranda Kidder. Music will be provided by Valerie Andrus. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Mausoleum in Arnaudville. Mr. Kidder loved Cajun dancing and was known for it. He was a lifelong farmer who loved the land and cared for his animals. He was a simple man who loved life. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Heda Hardy Kidder of Arnaudville, his son, Jude Kidder and his wife, Stephanie of St. Martinville; his daughter, Francine K. Martin and her husband, Ed of Arnaudville; his grandchildren, Hannah Martin, Miranda Kidder, Cameron Kidder and Jennah Martin He is preceded in death by his father, Francois Kidder, his mother, Luce Guidry Kidder, his sisters, Lucille Quebedeaux, Ida Kidder, Lucy Marks and Louise Quebedeaux; his brothers, Percy Kidder, Dolphy Kidder and Gordy Kidder. Pallbearers will be Ryan Quebedeaux, Chad Quebedeaux, Michael Quebedeaux, Ed Martin, Francine K. Martin, and Stephanie Kidder. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jude Kidder, Hannah Martin, and Jennah Martin. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville, 314 St. Landry St., Arnaudville, Louisiana 70512, is in charge of arrangements.
