Charles Langlois will officiate. ; Born on December 2, 1936 in New Iberia, Mr. Dietlein retired from Wildlife and Fisheries with 38 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, gardening, and photography. ; Survivors include his wife of nearly 50 years, Jeanette McDowell Dietlein of New Iberia; sons, Frederick C. Dietlein and wife Ronnette of Lafayette, Michael C. Dietlein and fiance, Lisa Daigle of New Iberia; grandchildren, Emma Louise Dietlein, Alexander Fritz Dietlein, Carter Shane Dietlein, Brock Anthony Dietlein, and Brody Michael Dietlein. ; He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence F. Dietlein, Sr. and Jeanne Boudreaux Dietlein; brother, Dr. Lawrence F.
