New Iberia ;- A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, on Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at St. Peter Catholic's Church in New Iberia, for Gary Nicholas Sellers, Sr, 54, who passed away on Monday, July 14, 2008 in Humble, Texas. ; Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia. ; Rev. Gary Schexnayder will be the Celebrant and Msgr. Russell Harrington will Con-Celebrate. ; A native of Abbeville, Gary was retired from Texaco and had worked for Dominion Oil Co. He was currently working for Pyramid GOM as a manager. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer. ; Survivors include his wife Roberta Mooney Sellers of Humble, TX; sons, Nick Sellers and wife Ann of New Iberia, Jeremy Sellers and wife Molly of Humble, TX, Benjamin Sellers of Humble, TX; sister, Cathy Conners and husband Roger of Abbeville; brothers, Russell Sellers of Maurice, George Sellers and wife Camille of Mandeville, LA; and a grandchild due to arrive in January. ; He was preceded in death by his father, George Sellers, Sr; mother, Betty Lemaire Sellers Broussard; wife's parents, M.H. and Ruth Mooney. ; A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. ; Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd., New Iberia, LA 70560, 337.365.3331, is in charge of arrangements.
