New Iberia - A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Gayla Ann Douget, 47, who passed away on Friday, May 6, 2011 in New Iberia . Born on February 14, 1964 , Gayla enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed. Survivors include her mother, Verna Cormier Douget of Elton; daughters, Shannon Picard and husband Joseph of New Iberia, Erica Norris of New Iberia ; son, Todd Norris, Jr. and wife Mariah of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; brothers, Cursey Douget, Jr. and wife Anita of Duson, Eric Shane Douget and wife Maria of Crowley, David Douget of Eunice; grandchildren, Madison Degeyter, Nicholas Degeyter, Devin Picard, Sarah Picard, Talon Norris; and her beloved pet dog, 'Tinkerbell'.
