St. Martinville A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Friday, May 8, 2015, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for George A. Baptiste, Jr., 69, who passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10:30 am on Friday. Fr. Augustinus Seran will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery in St. Martinville. He will be greatly missed by his family, his nephew and nieces. He is survived by his son, Chris Baptiste; three brothers, Robert Rudolph, Edward Rudolph, and Andrew Rudolph; his sister, Elizabeth Roberson; his nephew, Robert (Nicole) Roberson; and a great niece, Hailey Roberson. He is preceded in death by his parents, George A. Baptiste, Sr. and Virginia Randeth Baptiste.
