Known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering willingness to help others, she had a special way of making everyone around her feel loved and welcomed. She never complained, always found a reason to smile, and was there to lend a helping hand whenever someone was in need.

An avid quilter, Georgia enjoyed sharing her talents and giving back to her community. She also loved playing Wahoo with her friends. She was a past president of the Ladies Altar Society, served as a Girl Scout leader, and was well known for making her famous "pig ears" for the church fair. She was also a member of the Mardi Gras Carnival in Catahoula. Throughout the years, she worked as a Beauty Control consultant and Chez Sidney in the crawfish plant.

Georgia had a special love for butterflies, a fitting reflection of the beauty and joy she brought into the lives of those around her. She will be remembered for her giving heart, her contagious smile, and the countless ways she touched the lives of others. Her kindness and love will forever be cherished by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Herbert "Bin" Courville; daughter, Shannon Stelly (Cornell); son, Shane Courville; grandchildren, Dustin Courville (Brittany), Jude Stelly, Jair Stelly (Kirsten) and Jenna Courville; great-grandchildren, Presley Stelly, Lillie Leger, Ayden Leger, and Carter Courville; sisters, Tina Frederick, Theresa Pearce (Wayne), and Kathleen Hynes (Paul); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
