Geraldine Vincent Rieckers

Coteau – Graveside services will be held at Oak Forest Cemetery, Hwy. 117, Leesville, LA, at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 15, 2026, for Geraldine Vincent Rieckers, 83, who passed away peacefully on Friday, August 7, 2026.

Visitation will be at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Geraldine Vincent Rieckers was born in Leesville, Louisiana on July 16, 1943, to the late Arthur and Mary Phillips Vincent, and was an area resident since 1963. What Geraldine cherished most was spending time with her family.

Mrs. Rieckers is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Roger Rieckers, Sr.; son, Roger Rieckers, Jr. (Christy Tassin); daughter, Carol Hagan (Gary Hagan, Jr.); sister, Claudene King; grandchildren, Brianna Louviere (Bryce) and Connor Hagan (Andrea); and great-grandchildren, Preston Lege, Catherine Hagan, Abigail Louviere, and John Hagan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, J.D. Walker, Billy Vincent, Pauline Bayham and twin sister, Christine Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Roger Rieckers, Jr., Connor Hagan, Chad Jeane, Michael D. Johnson, Bryce Louviere, and Gary Hagan, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers are Drew Guillot and Preston Lege.

The family would like to give special thanks to her caregiver, Shaley Hollier, for her love and dedication.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Acadiana, whose care was extraordinary.
