Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Gerline Robin who passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a life beautifully lived.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM. A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 AM with a eulogy read by Jodie McCallum to follow. 

Rev. Keith Landry will officiate the funeral service. Readers will Wendy Veronie and Joel Davis.

Burial to follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery. 

Gerline was a woman who embraced life's simple joys and grand adventures alike. She found happiness in traveling, like in her cherished winters spent in Breckenridge, and in foreign travel to China, Singapore, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and so many other countries. She found beauty in quiet moments, and she had a special place in her heart for her cats. Above all, Gerline adored her family, and nothing brought her more joy than time spent with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Terry "Blue" Robin; her children, Gene Veronie and his wife, Shonda, Scott Veronie and his wife, Phyllis, and her youngest, Wendy Veronie. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Leonardo Veronie, Massimo Veronie, Thaddeus Davis, Rachael Mitchell, Joshua Hebert and Rainy Hebert; her siblings, Earline Latiolais (Toby), Brenda Huval (Jimmy), and Don Begnaud (Cynthia); and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Lillian Begnaud; her brother, Curtis Begnaud; her first husband, Elray "Ray" Veronie; and her grandson, Jeffrey Hebert.

Pallbearers will be Gene Veronie, Scott Veronie, Max Veronie, Leo Veronie, Thaddeus Davis, and Jacob Dauphinet.

Honorary pallbearer will be Joel Davis. 

Those who knew Gerline will remember her for her warmth, her quiet strength, and the way she made the people she loved feel truly special. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished so deeply and in the countless memories shared with those fortunate enough to have known her.
