Germaine Phil Boudreaux

St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 31, 2025 at Notre Dame Catholic Church honoring the life of Germaine Phil Boudreaux, 49, who passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025 in Pineville, LA.

A visitation will take place on Friday at Notre Dame Catholic Church from 9:00 am until the Mass at 11:00 am. 

A Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 am.

Rev. Abelardo Gabriel, SVD will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Natasha Ferdinand and Sharrell Williams. Gift Bearers will be Autumn Taylor, Samaya Hogan and Delacy Taylor.

Burial will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery.

Germaine was an active and playful child who found joy in playing and being in water. He cherished his time with family, and his early years were filled with laughter and love. Unfortunately, during his adolescent years, Germaine faced significant health challenges as he began to experience seizures that led to changes in his verbal and physical abilities, ultimately resulting in his disability.

Despite these challenges, Germaine's spirit shone brightly. He communicated his love for his family through cheerful smiles and sounds that conveyed his happiness. He had a special way of expressing affection, often bestowing kisses on his loved ones. Germaine found joy in simple pleasures, including enjoying meals, particularly washed down with a cold Coke.

Germaine's presence brought joy to all who were fortunate enough to know him. His beloved family will forever treasure the beautiful memories and the love he uniquely shared with each one of them.

He is survived by his parents, Mary Lucille Boudreaux and Phillip Boudreaux; sister, Delacy Taylor (Warren); half-sisters, Kennethia Thomas, Sharrell Williams and Shaniya Williams; paternal grandmother, Mary Boudreaux; and godmother, Jerry Jones.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rose Mae Lewis and Marshall Lewis; paternal grandfather, John W. Boudreaux; uncle, Donald Lewis; and cousin, Jacobie Boudreaux.

Pallbearers will be Warren Taylor, Bill Boudreaux, Jr., Kevin Mitchell, Harold Pickney, Jr., Andre' Sampay and Timothy Cotton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Boudreaux, Bill Boudreaux, Sr., Peter Boudreaux and Ronald Lewis.
