September 13, 1951 — January 6, 2026

Catahoula- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at St. Rita Catholic Church honoring the life of Gertrude Hebert Bourque, 74, who passed away on January 6, 2026 at Our Lady of Lourdes.

A visitation will take place at Dion Hall on Tuesday from 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 AM on Tuesday.

Rev. Bill Melancon will officiate at the funeral mass.

Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Stanley Bourque; sons, Kelly Bourque and Ryan Bourque; grandchild, Oakley Bourque; sisters, Diane Watson (Bruce) and Margaret Fields; and her brother, Mckanley "Mac" Hebert (Jolene).

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clay and Florence Albert Hebert, Jr.; brother, Clay Hebert III and her in-laws Antoine and Mable Dugas Bourque, Sr.
