Gloria Mae Lange Menard

New Iberia – Funeral services will be held at Pellerin Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Friday, February 13, 2026, for Gloria Lange Menard, 93, who passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville, Louisiana.

Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Rev. Zack Mitchell will officiate.

Visitation will be at Pellerin Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will resume on Friday from 8:00 am until 11:00 am. A scripture reading will be at 6:00 pm on Thursday.

Gloria Mae Lange Menard was born in Erath, Louisiana on March 26, 1932, to the late Sidney and Henrietta Richard Lange. A devoted churchgoer, Gloria found solace in her spiritual community. Her steadfast faith was a guiding light in her life.

Gloria's pride and joy was her family, which she regarded as her greatest blessings. She embraced her role as a grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, who often remember her cheerful laughter. She will be deeply missed.

Mrs. Menard is survived by a son, David “Monkey” Menard; daughters, Judy Romero (Ronald), Beverly Anson (Bobby), and Brenda Menard; son-in-law, Ronald Robinson, Sr.; sisters, Hazel Broussard and Frances Primeaux; grandchildren, Rachel Burnett, Rusty Romero, Scotty Romero, Angela DeRouen, Jennifer Price, Nicky Derouen, Shane Anson, Robbie Anson, Tabitha Prater, Rebecca Menard, Joshua Menard, Sr., Chasity Racheau, Brandi Neuville, Christy Guidry, and Ronnie Robinson; great-grandchildren, Logan, McKenzie, Kyle, Teigen, Jackson, Martin Jr., Detroyrius, Dwayne, Beau, Owen, Brennan, Madison, Conner, Bailey, Payton, Brandon, Breece, Ben, Peyton, Avery, Madison, Nealy, Hope, Savannah, Lexi, Jordan, Robert IV, Gemma, Jacques, Jennie, Drake, Breanna, Caleb, Christian, Micah, Abigail, Alyssa, Joshua Jr., Jaydon, Johnathon, Jordon, Nataleigh, Gabriella, Gage, Evan B., Alyssa, Evan G., Isaac, Railey, Remi, River, Raven, Amber, Aidan, Gavin, Kase and Landen; 19 great-great-grandchildren, and one more on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Syprine Menard; daughters, Deanna Romero and Bonnie Robinson; grandchildren, Louis “Boo” Romero, Dwayne Anthony Menard, and Tommy Romero; and siblings, Willie Mae Cornner, Audrey Ann Champagne, Dolores Tipper, Minos “Chub” Lange, Nelson “Lew Lew” Lange, Sr., Howard Lange, Preston “Butch” Lange, Lester Lange, J.C. Lange, and Nelson “June” Lange, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Menard Sr., Shane Anson, Ronnie Robinson, Drake Myers, Caleb Myers, and Micah Myers.

Honorary pallbearers are Rusty Romero, Scotty Romero, David “Monkey” Menard, Chris Prater, and Robbie Anson.

Gloria’s memory will forever remain in our hearts. May she rest in peace.
