Glynn Joseph Mason

Catahoula- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Rita Catholic Church for Glynn Joseph Mason, 67, who passed away on April 21, 2023, at his residence.

Rev. Bill Melancon will officiate at the funeral mass.

Glynn was born on September 4, 1955, in Arnaudville. He and his loving wife of 45 years, Lonnie, reside in Catahoula. His family was the most important to him and he cherished the time spent with them. Glynn loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle with his wife and friends. Everywhere Glynn went he met a new friend. His kitchen was always open to visit and drink a cup of coffee. He truly never met a stranger. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Lonnie Broussard Mason; children, Raquel Mason, Glynn Ross Mason (Angel) and Ike Mason (Mandi); grandchildren, Layke and Sydnie Bourque, Lexi Mason, Kinzi and Charli Mason; siblings, Iris Theriot (Bobby), Charlene Boudreaux (Jeff), Sandra Boudreaux, and Kerry Mason.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Betty Theriot Mason.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Acadian Hospice and to all the family and friends who took part in caring for Glynn. It is greatly appreciated.

Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
