New Iberia ;- ;Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, September 9, 2008, at Pellerin Funeral Chapel in New Iberia, for Mrs. Marcus Shaw, the former Grace Neff, 88, who passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 in Natchitoches. ; Entombment will follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum ; Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. ; Born on April 13, 1920, Mrs. Shaw enjoyed sewing, gardening, and traveling. ; Survivors include her daughters, Rebecca C. Broussard and husband Jerome of Whitefish, Montana, Mildred Shaw of New Iberia, Rosemary S. Thomas and husband William of Pueblo, Colorado; sons, John S. Chaney of Whitefish, Montana, Barry Shaw of New Iberia; brother, L.C. "Pat" Neff and wife Carol of Slidell; caregiver and special friend, Ruby Smith of New Iberia; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. ; She was preceded in death by her husbands, Marcus G. Shaw and John Chaney; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Neff. ; Pallbearers include John S. Chaney, Barry Shaw, Marcus Limberg, Jerome Broussard, Drew Kelly, and Jody Horton. ; A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 4:30 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Monday.
