Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Greg Lynfield Beazley, 47, who passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Monday and continue at 8:00 am until 10:00 am on Tuesday, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Monday by Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert. Rev. Paul LaFleur will officiate at the Funeral Mass with Deacon Marcel Butch Hebert concelebrating. Scriptures will be read by Lisa Thibodeaux and Angela Richard. Gift Bearers will be Brye Latiolais and Drake Thibodeaux. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Greg was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He was very involved with his sons baseball careers. Greg loved life and lived it to the fullest he was known to be a practical joker amongst family and friends. He loved music and played the keyboard and he was also an accomplished unicycle rider. He is survived by his wife, Kim Underwood Beazley; three sons, Jared Beazley, Jordon Beazley, and Jake Beazley; his parents, John and Mary Ann Hoffpauir Beazley; his sister, Angela B. Richard and husband, Trevor; five granddaughters, Jillian Venable, Dakota Beazley, Emma Venable, Lily Beazley, and Olivia Dean; and his in-laws, Carl and Earline Underwood. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Curtis and Lillian Hoffpauir; and his paternal grandparents, Adrian and Sadye Beazley. Pallbearers will be his three sons, Jared, Jordon, and Jake Beazley, Mark Latiolais, Kip Underwood, and Jody Thibodeaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark LaGrange, Richard Dartez, Ken Johnson, Wesley Bonestaff, Frank Scardino, Drew Thibodeaux, Gene Chauffe, Mike Angelle, Ronald Solarie and Banks Menard.
