Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Greg A. Hardy, 54, who passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at his residence in Opelousas. 

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Tuesday from 9:30 am until the time of service at 2:00 pm. 

A rosary will be prayed at 12:00 pm on Tuesday afternoon. 

Father Randy Courville will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson. 

Greg was born to Dorothy Guidry Hardy and the late, Thomas Hardy, Jr. He grew up in Henderson alongside his siblings - Gretchen and Guy. Greg's most cherished moments in his life were the births of his children - Megan Marie McGee and Benny Vicknair. 

Greg was struggling with life and may he now finally be at peace. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He is survived by his beloved mother, Dorothy Guidry Hardy; son, Benny Vicknair; daughter, Megan McGee; grandchildren, Zoey and Trey Laneaux; sister, Gretchen White (Paul); brother, Guy Hardy; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Hardy, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Alta Courville and Alexander Guidry; and paternal grandparents, Thomas Hardy, Sr. and Velma Bergeron. 

Pallbearers will be Benny Vicknair, Guy Hardy, Paul White, Jeremy Guilbeau, Travis Hardy, and Megan McGee. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Zoey Laneaux and Trey Laneaux.
