Harold Artigue

Breaux Bridge- It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Harold "Bae Bae" Artigue, born on December 29, 1947, in Arnaudville. He passed away on November 27, 2025, in Lafayette at the age of 77.

Harold dedicated his career to serving the community as a Water Patrol officer for the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office. He was known for his unwavering commitment to safety and his passion for the great outdoors. An avid hunter, Harold cherished the time spent immersed in nature, enjoying the beauty of Louisiana's landscapes.

He is survived by his wife, Aline Patin Artigue; his brother, Harris Artigue (Jane); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Angela Guidry Artigue; and siblings, Allen Artigue, Rodney Artigue, Maurice Artigue, Rita Lagrange, Elsie Dugas, and Rita Mae Touchette.

His wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Bae Bae will be dearly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
