Harold Jolivet, Sr.

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 6, 2026, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church honoring the life of Harold "Digg" Jolivet, Sr., 87, who passed away on May 21, 2026.

A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia on Saturday from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 AM on Saturday.

Rev. Greg Cormier will officiate at the Funeral Mass.

Burial will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.

His work ethic, and heartfelt dedication to his job defined his character and left a lasting impression on those around him. Harold's passion for life was manifested in his love for music and dancing, which brought joy to his heart and those of his family and friends. He found solace in his outdoor pursuits, delighting in hunting rabbits and squirrels, and took pride in raising hogs and chickens, fostering a deep connection to the land and the traditions of his heritage.

He is survived by his children, Harold "Jolly" Jolivet, Jr. (Rita), Angeliana Williams and Sheila Carr (Floyd); brothers, Carlton Jolivet and Eugene Jolivet; spouse, Nora Jolivet; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Amilcar and Georgiana Broussard Jolivet; grandchild, Rashana Jolivet; sibilings, Andrew Jolivet, Joseph "Aron" Jolivet, Sr., Landry Jolivet, Hilda Cyprien and Viola Gordon; and son-in-law, Keith O. Williams.
