Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge for Harrison William Wright, 17, who passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 until time of service on Wednesday at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
The family has requested that everyone present for the visitation and funeral wear blue or purple colors.
Fr. Bill Rogalla, will conduct the services at the Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel and interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Harrison was a member of the Acadian Ambulance Explorers and a life time member of Aftermath Low Rider Club. He was employed at Winn-Dixie.
Harrison has played the trumpet since Junior High and was currently playing with the Cecilia High School Band. He loved music, it was his passion.
Harrison made everyone laugh and was kind, loyal, funny and always the Life of the Party. Harrison lived life to the fullest. His sister, Sadie has said He Was Special.
Survivors include his parents, David and Judy Wright of Breaux Bridge; his paternal grandmother, Janey Wright of Utah; his maternal grandparents, John and Regina Hedgcoth of Texas; his girlfriend, Elizabeth Doodles Reed-Sailer of Cecilia; two brothers, James Cohen Wright of Utah and Jacob Wright of Breaux Bridge; four sisters, Joycelyn Byington (Timothy) of Virginia, Gracie Strickland of Youngsville, Charly Hawk (Timothy) of Youngsville and Sadie Wright of Breaux Bridge; and his nephews, Ethan Boudreaux and Kenny Hawk.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Joyce Bryan; paternal grandfather, William Wright and his uncle, Johnny Hedgcoth.
Pallbearers will be Derek "Gator" Lebeouf, David Edens, Davin Edens, Rob Jones, Nic Eidson and Brad Granier.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
