New Iberia – Private services will be held at a later date for Hayden Bradlee Arthur, 31, who passed away at East Jefferson General Hospital on Sunday, May 11, 2025, from unknown complications following a kidney transplant.
A resident of New Iberia, Hayden Bradlee Arthur was born in Junction City, Kansas on May 28, 1993. He had a vibrant spirit and infectious laughter that could brighten even the darkest of days.
A true connoisseur of music, Hayden's love for melodies and rhythms was an integral part of who he was. His keen ear for tunes and passion for sound stitched a beautiful tapestry of joy around him. Friends and family alike were often entertained by his clever wit and humorous anecdotes, which made every gathering more memorable. Whether through shared laughter, family game/movie nights, or late-night gaming sessions, Hayden had a remarkable ability to draw people together, fostering deep connections built on affection and humor.
In the kitchen, Hayden was a magician, turning simple ingredients into mouth-watering meals, leaving everyone craving more. With dreams of one day becoming a chef and owning his own restaurant, he shared his love for cooking with those closest to him, creating cherished memories around the dining table.
Above all, Hayden was a devoted husband and father. His wife, Wendy, was not just his partner but indeed his world; a love that inspired everyone around them. Their close-knit family was a source of immense joy in his life, with his children being the center of his universe. He adored them with all of his heart, cherishing every moment spent creating lasting memories.
Hayden had a special bond with his mother. A proud mama’s boy, he found solace and companionship in their shared interests, from their mutual love of Star Wars to their endless conversations about anything and everything. They were nerd soulmates, sharing laughter and support, strengthening their bond.
Hayden is survived by his loving wife, Wendy Demarest; daughters, Azaliea and Eleanor; mother and step father, Mandy and Steven Dore’; siblings, Clifton Blaine, Jr. (Kate), Hannah Bodin (Hunter), Evan Blaine, Elijah Blaine (Auriona), Kodie Blaine (Gio Bertoldi), Tony Blaine; step-sister, Marissa; step-brother, Chris; maternal grandparents, Kathleen and Doug Krone, and Cynthia Gibson; paternal grandparents, Joe and Vivian Rodriguez, and Darrell Arthur; niece and nephews, Peyton Penelope Blaine, Lucas Blaine, and Felix Bodin; aunts and uncles, Kayce Roach, Jodie Strength, Dana White, Manda Alford, Sabrina Padilla, Courtney Krone, Raegan Morgan, Rebecca Blaine, Kendra Blaine, April Harris, Amanda Franco, Theresa Crisp, Tyler Krone, Quince White, Cooper Strength, Willie Strength, Tommy Woods, Shelby Woods, Gregory Strength, Nathan Blaine, J.C. He was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Arthur; and maternal grandfathers, Quince White and Richard Woods.
