Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, March 8, 2021, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Hazel Wiltz, 81, who passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8:00 am until service. A rosary will be prayed at 8:30 am on Monday. Rev. Ugochukwu Jerome Cletus SSJ will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Hazel Mae Wiltz " MawMaw" "OG" was born September 6, 1939 to Mary Ann Potier and Freddie Wiltz. Hazel was a graduate of Carver High School. She was a housekeeper the majority of her life. She enjoyed raising her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and cleaning, playing cards with family and friends, playing bingo, and family gatherings. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Ann Potier and Freddie Wiltz; sister, Iola Green; son, Daryl Wiltz; nephew, Joseph Cedric "Pop" Zenon and a host of aunts, uncles, and family. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories her sister, Margaret Zenon (Robert); her three daughters, Cynthia Wiltz, Cheryl Calais (Johnny) and Jessica Wiltz; and their siblings, Yvette Joseph (Kenneth), Alvin Lewis (Mary), Lakeisha Bruno (James), Nicole Damond (Kelvin), Syndey Ray Sylvester; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Thaddeus Wiltz ,Terrence Calais, Tamron Alexander, Markell Wiltz, Justin Wiltz, Ja'koryn Wiltz, Landon Wiltz, and Isaiah Wiltz.
