Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Helen Marie Senigal, 81, who passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 am until 10:00 am on Saturday, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Saturday. Rev. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Helen loved taking care of kids, especially her foster care children. She enjoyed Zydeco dancing and cooking. Helen loved spending time with all of her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a compassionate and caring woman who loved to help people. Helen will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sons, Carlton Senigal and wife Christian, Herbert Senigal and Mackenzie Senigal and wife Lisette; daughter, Shirley Smith and companion Eldridge; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Robert Johnson and wife Janella and Calvin Johnson and wife Pam; sisters, Louella Lewis and husband Wesley, Enola Wiltz and husband Wallace, Merle Hall and Lucille Mallery and husband Zerban; longtime cousin and friend, Odiella Breaux; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Horace Senigal; parents, Murphy and Sadonia Wiltz Johnson; and brothers, Albert Johnson and Clifton Wiltz.
