Hilda Delahoussaye Dohmann

St. Martinville A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Hilda Rita Delahoussaye Dohmann, 80, who passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 1:30 pm until 10:00 pm on Friday, and continue at 8:00 am until 12:30 pm on Saturday, at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Friday. Rev. Rusty P. Richard will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Marlena Fontenot and Jan Hayes. Gift Bearers will be Judy Ozzard-Low and Dianna LeBlanc. Interment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville. Mrs. Dohmann enjoyed cooking, babysitting, and watching sports on television. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jerry Dohmann, Jr. of St. Martinville; her son, Richard Paul Dohmann and his wife, Cheryl, of Lafayette; her daughter, Lisa Ann Dohmann and her fianc, Richard LeBlanc, of St. Martinville; her brothers, Dutel Delahoussaye of St. Martinville and Dudley Delahoussaye of Baker; her sister, Beatrice Babin of St. Martinville; and her step grandchild, Danielle Venable and her husband, Blake, and their children, Kylie, Sadie, and Ashton. She is preceded in death by her father, Alexis and Natalie Landry Delahoussaye; two brothers, Andr and Desire Tit Delahoussaye; and four sisters, Emily Tauzin, Maydell Landry, Lydia Huval, and Rhena Huval. Pallbearers will be Carroll Delahoussaye, Larry Delahoussaye, Timothy Davis, Perry Delahoussaye, Leland Dohmann, and Roland Tauzin. Honorary pallbearers will be her two brothers, Dutel and Dudley.
