Hilton John Boyer

Breaux Bridge - A Private Graveside Service will be held for Hilton John Boyer, 88, who passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, April 18, 2020. Hilton was born and raised in Breaux Bridge, LA and then moved to Carencro where he resided for 50 years. He was a general contractor and built houses all over south Louisiana. Hilton's favorite past time was to sit under the camper garage, put KBON on, make a fire and drink a cold one. He loved spending time with his family. Hilton enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening. He had a green thumb and shared all of his produce with his children. He will be missed dearly. He is survived by his daughters, Emmeline Deville and Tina Hisaw (Jack); sons, Donald Boyer (Sue Derise), Dickie Boyer (Brenda), Jimmie Boyer (Renella) and Billy Boyer (Sara); brother, Irvin Boyer, Sr. (Sylvia); sister, Lou Anna Sanders (Raymond); sisters in-law, Theresa Boyer and Verna Boyer; grandchildren, Tammy Green (Jeff), Matthew Boyer (Shelley Broussard), Brent Boyer (Hannah), Drew Boyer (Hannah), Ashley Broussard (Brent), Jamie Broussard (Brook), Cherie Erickson (Chris), Nick Hisaw (Angie LaGrange), Logan Hisaw (Ashley Boutin) and Hailey Hisaw (Nick Daigle); great grandchildren, Cole Green, Chelsea and Coby Boyer, Kopen Boyer, Bristol and Bren Broussard, Cain and Cruz Erikson, Gavin and Rylee Hisaw and Beckham and Bevin Broussard; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful furry companion, "Pip." He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Mabel "Meb" Huval Boyer; parents, Alcee and Emma Courville Boyer; brothers, Clifford Boyer and Alton Boyer; sister, Mary Lou "Malou" Boyer; and one son-in-law, Carol Deville. Pallbearers will be Donald Boyer, Dickie Boyer, Jimmie Boyer, Billy Boyer, Logan Hisaw, and Jeff Green. Honorary pallbearers will be Tammy Green, Hailey Hisaw, Matthew Boyer, Brent Boyer, Drew Boyer, Ashley Broussard, Jamie Broussard, Cherie Erickson, and Nick Hisaw.
