Hiroe Oshiro Argubright

Breaux Bridge - A memorial service will be held at a later date for Hiroe Oshiro Argubright, 70, who passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019. Hiroe was born November 22, 1948 in Okinawa, Japan. She was a practicing Buddhist and a member of Soka Gakkai International (SGI) community. Hiroe enjoyed sewing, fishing, and playing the slot machines at the Casino. Most importantly, she loved to spend time and share memories with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Yoko Weber and husband Sonny; son, Alan Bigelow; and two grandchildren, Beau Weber and Victoria Weber. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Argubright; her parents, Oshiro Ryoki and Kiyo Oshiro; and three brothers, Yoshikasu Oshiro, Yoshimitsu Oshiro, and Susumu Oshiro. Pellerin Funeral Home(337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
