Huey J. Thibodeaux

New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Huey J. Thibodeaux, 65, who passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2013. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Rev. Mark Derise will conduct the services. Huey was a graduate of New Iberia Senior High and was employed by M.A. Patout and Sons for 40 years. He enjoyed playing golf, cooking and spending time with friends at the Lazy Lounge and Sugar Oaks Golf Course. Survivors include his fianc, Susan Davis of New Iberia; three children, Janine Thibodeaux Hanson (John) of Fredericksburg, VA, Jared Thibodeaux of Frisco, Texas, and Jacob Thibodeaux of San Diego, CA; Susans daughter, Hollie Bodin (Ricky) of New Iberia; Hollies two sons, Cody Thibodeaux and Beau Bodin; three brothers, Johnnie Thibodeaux (Susan) of Lake Charles and their children, Angela Papania (Jeff), Kathryn Stutes (Jason), and James Thibodeaux, Rickie Thibodeaux (Linda) of Broussard and their children, Mathew Thibodeaux (Lauren) and Rachael Thibodeaux, and David Thibodeaux (Fran) of New Iberia and their children, Justin Thibodeaux (Marsha), and Ross Thibodeaux; two sisters, Jane Andrepont of New Iberia and her daughter, Nicole and daughter in law, Donna and Linda Savoie of Youngsville; and five grandchildren, Madeline Hanson, Lauren Hanson, Catherine Hanson, Josey Hanson and Ashton Thibodeaux. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Sue Landry Thibodeaux; two brothers-in-law, Milton Andy Andrepont and Calvin Savoie; and two nephews, Michael Andrepont and Johnnie Thibodeaux, Jr. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday and continue at 8 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Jared, Jacob, Johnnie, Rick, and David Thibodeaux, and Will Legendre. Honorary pallbearers will be ALL OF HIS BUDDIES.
