Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 7, 2021, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Iva Mae DeVillier, 83, who passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm on Sunday, and continue on Monday at 10:00 am until 1:30 pm. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Sunday.Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the funeral service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Iva was born September 1, 1937 in Breaux Bridge. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend. She loved to garden, travel, read and cross stitch. Iva cherished her time spent with her family, especially the kids. Having all of her family together was her favorite place to be. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband, Heywood Baudoin; daughter, Judy Olivier; son, Leonard Devillier (Erica); grandchildren, Carrie Angelle (Nicholas), Julie Olivier, Cody Olivier (Allison), Martha Goulas (Ross), Francis Broussard and Alex Devillier; great grandchildren, Chance Fontenot, Trey Fontenot, Kade Fontenot, Lane Angelle, Nickolas Angelle, Laya Goulas, Cora Thibodeaux, Sawyer Goulas, Carter Olivier and Eva Thibodeaux; great-great grandchild, Cullen Fontenot; brothers, Thomas Guidry (Gayle) and Michael Guidry; sisters, Jane Stelly (Alton), Rosa Guidry and Mildred Verdin (Ray "T-Boy"); and a host of godchildren, nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her first husband and the love of her life, Earl "E.J" DeVillier; parents, Ovey and Alizre Melancon Guidry.
