Jacob will be remembered as a man with hardworking hands, a generous spirit, and a heart bigger than most. He had a true gift as a mechanic, especially when it came to small engines and farming equipment. If something was broken, Jacob could fix it-and he did so with pride, patience, and skill. He loved being outdoors, never afraid to get his hands dirty. Whether he was working in the dirt, fixing equipment, or simply enjoying the day, that's where he felt most at home.
Jacob also had a love for adventure, always ready to go, explore, and make memories along the way. He had a deep love for food and never turned down a good meal, especially when it meant sharing time with the people he cared about. More than anything, Jacob was known for his kindness and generosity. He would truly give the shirt off his back to help someone in need, never asking for anything in return.
Jacob's big heart, strong work ethic, and love for life will never be forgotten. He touched the lives of many and leaves behind memories that will be cherished forever. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his brothers, Ryan Albert and Derek Albert; sister, Megan Albert; significant other, Lauren Credeur; adopted daughter, Brooklyn Credeur; nephew, Luke Albert; and his adopted nieces, Braelyn Gates and Jolie Albert.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Curry and Vickie LeBlanc Albert; grandparents, Russel and Melba Albert and Lloyd and Eula LeBlanc; and his uncle, David LeBlanc.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Albert, Steve Fusilier, Jr., Layton Broussard, Errol Albert, Josh Hebert, John Hebert, Craig Melancon, Brian Melancon, Tallon Menard, and Trey Thibodeaux.
Honorary pallbearers will be Derek Albert, Luke Albert, Wade Vincent Carson Fusilier, and Ennis Mouton.
