Jacqueline L. Angelle

Cecilia - Private services will be held for Jacqueline L. Angelle, 60, who passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at her residence.

Jacqueline was well-known for her deep love of nature, which began in childhood when she would collect bugs and into her adult years where she enjoyed the beauty of butterflies. Her passion for fishing provided her with countless cherished memories spent outdoors. A true animal lover, Jacqueline had a special connection with cats, earning her the affectionate title of "cat whisperer."

As an amazing cook, she delighted friends and family with her skills, particularly her famous lemon pies that quickly became a favorite. Her love extended beyond her immediate family; she cherished her role as a mother, but she also adored her nieces, nephews and godchild. Jacqueline's home was filled with laughter and love, especially during her cherished Saturday night dinner dates with her sisters, which were often followed by joyful shopping outings.

Jacqueline will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons, Derek Latiolais and Dalan McGee; grandchild, Justin Broussard; step-son, Cameron Angelle; sisters, Karen Melancon (Stuart), Annette Fuselier and Allison Latiolais; and godchild, Myles Melancon.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne Mark Angelle; sister, Rachel Castille; parents, Allen "Beno" Latiolais and Lucille Theriot Latiolais; maternal grandparents, Louis and Anna Menard Theriot; paternal grandparents, Phermine and Germaine Doucet Latiolais; and former companion, Kary McGee.

Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
