Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 23, 2007, at First Baptist Church of Breaux Bridge for James Cleborn Bowen, Jr., 46, who died Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at his residence. James loved the outdoors; he loved flying airplanes and riding motorcycles. Survivors include his son, Lance Bowen and his wife, Kathryn of Lafayette; his parents, James Bowen, Sr. and Shirley Long Bowen, of Breaux Bridge; his brother, Jeffrey Allan Bowen and his wife, Theresa of Casper, WY; his sister, Sherrie Chapman and her husband, Billy of Forest Hill, LA; his granddaughter, Brooklyn Marie Bowen; and many nieces and nephews. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. on Friday and continue until time of service. Prayer time will be held at 1:15 p.m. on Friday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
