Janzina Ann Thibodeaux

Parks - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at St. Louis Chapel in Parks for Janzina Thibodeaux, 73, who passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:30 am until 10:00 am on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 9:30 am on Saturday. Rev. Nicholas DuPre' will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Janzina was a devout Catholic and member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Parks. Her family was her joy and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved watching sports, cooking and playing on her IPad. Janzina enjoyed listening to music and dancing. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughters, Dwaun (Jeffery) West, Lawana (fiancé, Keith) Mitchell and Jemeka Thibodeaux; sons, Kyric (fiancé, Jennifer) Mitchell and Harry Thibodeaux; brothers, Lennis Johnson and Ervin (Carolyn) Mitchell; sisters, Jane Arvie and Lillia Clement; grandchildren, Bianca Polk, Kylee Mitchell, Zion Malveaux, Andon Russo, Blayne Thibodeaux, Ashton West, Ryleigh Williams, Nylia Thibodeaux and Kourtnie Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Kami Wiltz, Aubrey Polk, Amir Polk and Ayden Polk. She was preceded in death by her husband of 12 years, Joseph Thibodeaux; parents, Harry Mitchell and Mable Wiltz Mitchell; and sisters, Bertha Mitchell and Rose Mitchell. Pallbearers will be Harry Thibodeaux, Ervin Mitchell, Harold Price, Howard Glenn Price, Eldred Price and Aaron Clement. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyric Mitchell, Lennis Johnson, Ervin Mitchell, Jeffery West, Keith Davis, Phillip Thibodeaux, Yancy Thibodeaux and Alonzo Mitchell.
