Jessie Wiltz

Cecilia- Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. , on Thursday, March 3, 2011 , at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Cecilia, for Jessie J. 'Shakey' Wiltz, 59 who passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at his residence. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson . Deacon Kenneth Soignier, will conduct the services. Readers will be Hunter Guidry, Krystal Dupuis and Sage Wiltz. Shakey was a great father and loved his daughter very much. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, playing cards, dominoes and his friends. Survivors include his daughter, Joanna Michelle Wiltz; his step son, Jeremy Spradlin; his step-father, Stanley Guidry; his step-mother, Alberta Caillier; his brothers, Shawn David Wiltz and his wife Angela and Dwight Joseph Wiltz and his wife, Sondra; his sisters, Cindy Marie Richard and her husband, John, and Lisa Marie Guidry and her husband, Michael Melancon; his 3 grandchildren; his nieces and nephews, Brennon Wiltz, Sage Wiltz, Krystal Dupuis, Fabian Dupuis, Bryce Wiltz, Kalen Wiltz, Laia Renee' Robin and her husband, Joel Thibodeaux, Hunter Guidry, Kristina Garcia and Michael Melancon, Jr.; and his great nieces and nephews, Cameron Joseph Arceneaux, Karissa Dupuis and Christian LeBlanc. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelton Joseph and Betty Lou Louviere Wiltz; his maternal grandparents, Dupre' and Celina Johnson Louviere; his paternal grandparents, Jules and Ament Patin Wiltz; his step daughter, Brandi Spradlin; and numerous aunts and uncles. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 and continue at 8:00 a.m. until time of service on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Hunter Guidry, Troy Seneca, Sage Wiltz, Dwight Wiltz, John Richard and Joel Thibodeaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Shawn Wiltz, Mike Melancon, Kaylor Frederick, Jeremy Spradlin and Fabian Dupuis. Pellerin Funeral Homeof Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
