Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 am, on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, for John Alvin Amos, 57, who passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2016, at his home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:30 am until time of service on Saturday. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. John enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, dancing and going to church with his family. He is survived by his loving spouse of 39 years, Gloria Alexander Amos; daughters, Tisa Gabriel, Lawanna Alexander, Shanda Huston and husband Javon, Latarya Alexander and husband Brandon, and Crystal Roberts; sons, John Alexander and wife Jessica, Javeuin Amos and wife Roshondellon, Jonathan Amos and wife Aaliyah, Dwight Borel and wife, Melanie; 18 grandchildren; brothers, Ronnie Calais, Joseph Amos and wife Estella; and sisters, Geraldine Goodie, Octavia Calais. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Agnes Amos; and his sister, Linda Amos.
