John "Cliff" Berard

Cecilia - A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for John "Cliff" Berard, 68, who passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab Center in Breaux Bridge.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Cecilia on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm. 

A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 am on Saturday morning. 

Father Garrett McIntyre will officiate the Memorial Mass. Readers will be Alyssa Vidrine and Darian Buras. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. 

He is survived by his beloved mother, Annette Champagne Berard; daughters, Alisha Vidrine (David) and Erin Suire (Cobi); grandchildren, Alyssa Vidrine, Emmy Vidrine, Camille Vidrine, Eli Suire and Owen Suire; sisters, Chris Angelle (Eddie) and Cathy Veillon (Randall); brother, Randy Berard; step-son, Marty Thibodeaux; step-daughters, Rachel T. Gravouilla (Dodd), Wanda Lastrapes (Chad) and Dawn Buras (Billy); and step-grandchildren, Chase Gravouilla (Chelsy), Lane Thibodeaux, Trey Gravouilla (Maci), Darian Buras (Montrel), Alaynee Buras (Scott), Courtney Lastrapes and Cody Lastrapes. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Renella Anne Berard; father, John Claude "J.C." Berard; and sister, Lisa Roberts and her husband, Phillip "T-Sue".
