John "Roy" Lormand
A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge on Thursday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will continue on Friday from 8:00 AM to until time of service.
A Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM on Thursday.
Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the funeral service.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.
Roy was born on March 10, 1943, in Scott, Louisiana. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at his camp with his son and two best friends, Ted Broussard and Woody Stevens.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Denora Guidry Lormand; son, Chris Paul Lormand; grandchildren, Gage Christopher Lormand and Austin Christian Lormand; brother, Ray (Mary) Lormand; and his sisters, Marella Menard and Shirley Byler.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clebe and Isaure Darce Lormand; and his brother, David Floyd Lormand.
