New Iberia – Memorial services will be held at a later date for Jonathan Harry Standridge, 38, who passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023.
A resident of New Iberia, Jonathan was born in Lafayette, on October 22, 1984, and was a graduate of Morgan City High School. He worked on tugboats, for Broussard Brothers and was an avid New Orleans Saints Fan. Jonathan had a passion for customizing his trucks, with audio systems and lift kits.
Jonathan loved life. He had a great personality and was very humorous. He enjoyed joking around, laughing, collecting souvenirs, swimming, going to the beach, casino, and Disney World. Most of all, Jonathan deeply cherished and loved his family, especially his son, who he adored. He will be missed, but always remembered.
Survivors include his son, Jaden Jon Standridge; mother, Marcia L. Allemond Danos; stepfathers, Larry Danos and David J. Allemond; sisters, Elizabeth C. Standridge and Alexus E. Allemond (Todd Dore); nieces, Natalie Dore, who is also his godchild, McKenzie Burke, Callie Freeze, Mazlie Dore, and Laurelie Allemond; cousins, William Wolf (Courtney), Greg Wolf (Susie), and Matt Wolf.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jay C. Standridge; grandparents, Harry P. LeBoeuf, Gladys Ruiz LeBoeuf, J.C. Standridge, and Elizabeth Siracusa; aunt and uncle, Laurelle and Bill Wolf; and his beloved dog, “Halo”
