Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Joseph Oswald Boyd, 67, who died Saturday, April 23, 2005 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Survivors include his mother, Leona A. Boyd of Breaux Bridge; his beloved companion, Velma Allen of Abbeville; his step children, Sarah Campbell, Sandra Baudoin, both of Abbeville and Patricia Alexander of Lafayette; his sister, Lee Boyd of Lafayette; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; his niece, Roxanne Hadnott; and his grand nephew, Roan Boyd Songy He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Boyd; and a great grandchild. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 7 AM on Tuesday and continue until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 8 AM Tuesday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
