Joseph 'Joey' "Joey" Charles Huval, II

St. Martinville - A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville, for Joseph "Joey" Charles Huval II, 54, who passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016, in Broussard. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 12:30 pm on Saturday. Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Memorial Service. Inurnment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Joey enjoyed life to the fullest and was known as a practical jokester. He was a hard worker who had several skills that could be used in many aspects. He also loved watching the Andy Griffith Show, most old movies and water skiing. Joey loved his family and will be remembered for his kindness and being "the man that always whistled." He is survived by his sister, Vicki Badon and husband Norris of Breaux Bridge; brothers, Dayne Huval and wife Kathy of St. Martinville,and Darin Huval and wife Regina of Cade; four nieces, Stacey Landry and Tammy Trimble of St.Martinville, and Chelsea Huval and Nichelle Bourque of Cade; and three nephews, Shawn Bergeron and Aubrey Trimble of St. Martinville and Craig Jude Huval, II of Cade. He was preceded in death by parents, Joseph Charles Huval and Ethel Broussard Huval; his brothers, Craig and Burt Huval; maternal grandparents, Dizier and Eunice Berard Broussard; paternal grandparents, Edward and Antoinette Douet Huval; and his aunt, Jeanette Huval Badeaux.
